# Change a tile's options

> Everything except report_key, which is not patchable — a different report is a different tile.

Everything except `report_key`, which is not patchable — a different report is a different tile. An absent key leaves an option alone; an explicit `null` CLEARS it, meaning "whatever the report defaults to" rather than pinning today's default.
