# List comments on a record, or across the business

> With exactly resource_type + resource_id: every comment on that record, oldest first, unpaged (has_more false).

With exactly `resource_type` + `resource_id`: every comment on that record, oldest first, unpaged (`has_more` false). Omit both — or add `limit`, `starting_after`, `sort_by[asc|desc]=created_at` or `created_at[op]` — for the cursor-paginated list, business-wide or scoped by either param. Oldest first unless `sort_by[desc]=created_at`.
